We know how hectic life can be, which is why we offer a free collection and delivery when your service is due, collecting your car from a location of your choice, then deliver it back again (within a reasonable distance – contact us for details) once the work is completed.
We can also provide you with a courtesy car to make sure you’re never stuck without transport. And of course, we’ll complete all repairs and servicing as quickly and efficiently as we can.
All services are carried out in a Covid-friendly way and our technicians will ensure that Covid safety procedures are followed at all times. Our measures include wearing a mask, disposable gloves and using protective car seat covers – which will help keep you and your vehicle safe.

Your tyres must be in good condition, without deformation or tear, and with a good tread depth. Our experts here at Buckingham and Stanley are happy to carry out a free no-obligation tyre check to diagnose early problems, check the safety and advise on the condition of your tyres.

With every vehicle that comes into our workshop, our technicians will carry out a free of charge, comprehensive health check (VHC) of the vehicle to make sure everything is in working order.
The VHC is a thorough check which includes:
It's a free service our trained technicians carry out to identify any potential issues that may occur when you drive away from our workshop or may need attention in a few months’ time.
The check takes around 30 minutes, and once completed you will be given a printout with a detailed summary of the results.
To make things as simple as possible for our customers to make any decisions, we use a simple traffic light system:
Your vehicle has successfully passed every item on the check list and no further work, repair or maintenance is required.
Amber of advisory means some work is recommended or there are issues which could require attention in the future. We will take a note of amber work and call you when this becomes necessary, so you don’t have to pay out more than you need on the day.
A good example of this is when a customer’s tyre tread depth is 3.5mm but we recommend changing tyres at 3mm. We will send a reminder for you to come in when it is likely that further action is required.
A Red VHC result identifies work that is urgent and potentially the vehicle has safety issues which require immediate attention.
All VHC work identified by our technicians will be provided with a breakdown of costs so you can make an educated decision on what needs doing and how much it is going to cost – no surprises down the line!
