Here at Buckingham and Stanley, we pride ourselves on the attention to detail we offer all our customers. We know your car plays a big part in your lives. However, servicing and maintenance is an important part of car ownership and can come with certain inconveniences.
That is why we try to make it as easy as possible to service, MOT or repair your car – if you wish to wait with your vehicle whilst it gets serviced, we have a comfortable waiting area to relax or work. If you need a collection and delivery, then we can arrange.

Get your car serviced without leaving the comfort of your home thanks to our free collection and delivery service.
We know how hectic life can be, which is why we offer a free collection and delivery when your service is due, collecting your car from a location of your choice, then deliver it back again (within a reasonable distance – contact us for details) once the work is completed.
We can also provide you with a courtesy car to make sure you’re never stuck without transport. And of course, we’ll complete all repairs and servicing as quickly and efficiently as we can.
All services are carried out in a Covid-friendly way and our technicians will ensure that Covid safety procedures are followed at all times. Our measures include wearing a mask, disposable gloves and using protective car seat covers – which will help keep you and your vehicle safe.
Like everything we do here at Buckingham and Stanley, our commitment to customer service doesn’t stop once your vehicle is in our workshop and believe the little things do truly make a big difference.
No one likes to wait around, but with jobs that take just a short time, it’s often far quicker and easier to wait whilst we do the work on your car.
That’s why we made our waiting area as comfortable as possible with free hot/cold refreshments and super-fast Wi-Fi so you can work or relax knowing your car is in safe hands whilst our experts work on your car.

Your tyres have a major effect on the handling quality of your vehicle, which has a direct impact on your safety.
Your tyres must be in good condition, without deformation or tear, and with a good tread depth. Our experts here at Buckingham and Stanley are happy to carry out a free no-obligation tyre check to diagnose early problems, check the safety and advise on the condition of your tyres.
With every service we will carry out a tyre check to make sure your tyres are doing what they need to do. Or to arrange a free tyre safety check, please call us or simply pop in and speak to one of our friendly service team.
Our staff here at Buckingham and Stanley will go out of their way to do our best to accommodate your needs beyond working on your vehicle.
We want to make sure you are well taken care of throughout your experience with us. As part of our above-and-beyond approach and to say thank you for your custom, our valet team will give your car a wash and vacuum the footwells after any work has been carried out as a complementary service to our customers.
That way you will drive away from us knowing your car has been well looked after and looking great!
With every vehicle that comes into our workshop, our technicians will carry out a free of charge, comprehensive health check (VHC) of the vehicle to make sure everything is in working order.
The VHC is a thorough check which includes:
It's a free service our trained technicians carry out to identify any potential issues that may occur when you drive away from our workshop or may need attention in a few months’ time.
The check takes around 30 minutes, and once completed you will be given a printout with a detailed summary of the results.
To make things as simple as possible for our customers to make any decisions, we use a simple traffic light system:
Green
Your vehicle has successfully passed every item on the check list and no further work, repair or maintenance is required.
Amber
Amber of advisory means some work is recommended or there are issues which could require attention in the future. We will take a note of amber work and call you when this becomes necessary, so you don’t have to pay out more than you need on the day.
A good example of this is when a customer’s tyre tread depth is 3.5mm but we recommend changing tyres at 3mm. We will send a reminder for you to come in when it is likely that further action is required.
Red
A Red VHC result identifies work that is urgent and potentially the vehicle has safety issues which require immediate attention.
All VHC work identified by our technicians will be provided with a breakdown of costs so you can make an educated decision on what needs doing and how much it is going to cost – no surprises down the line!
